i got a taste of infinity once


it was everything at first
but then over time it grew
dull and listless


so i threw it away


i got another taste of infinity
more recently


but the other party threw it away
before it ever really hit that point


I think i’m getting a taste of it again
but i don’t really know


the people i thought i knew
the people i think i know
have changed
and are always changing


so nothing can ever really
stay the same


maybe next time but


one can only dream
