I'm a long time veteran of the game "Runescape" having 20 years on their game. When i heard Jagex was releasing another game i had to jump in and see what it was about.

I can't speak on how well the game runs personally, I run a top end system that can run any game on max settings, If you're curious, 100fps+ max settings / 4k on a ryzen 9 7950x3d, 64GB DDR5 ram, RTX 4090

Now for the game.. - I'm loving it. I've worked with many, many companies over my career as a Youtuber and i say with confidence the graphical detail is wonderful, Animations and VFX feel very much like they pushed hard to have the same quality of many large title games and essentially they match them head on.

Gameplay feels incredibly solid, I'm enjoying combat though i hope more is introduced for variation of attacks soon. Magic specifically feels great but with the same 4 combo attacks i can see it getting visually repetitive and boring though the mechanics of how magic works and how you use it not just for combat but for gathering in unique ways is wonderful. I'm only a few hours in so perhaps that will change and with different unlocks i'll see different skill attacks etc, I'd LOVE to see Ancient Magicks, Please!!

I have not played with ranged too much but of what i did so far it feels good. It's consistent and very stamina intense so you need to be sure you use a proper set as a range or pick and choose your battles.

Melee also feels great though it's too easy right now to over-attack and do an extra hit when your target is dead. Hits and blocking feel wonderful and it's extremely easy to play.

It also feels content is done in a way so we have a ton of gameplay to experience before we get hit with the "nothing to do" wall since we are still waiting for a few features and i'm really happy with how they've decided to create this game in general.


9/10, Highly recommend if you were ever a fan of runescape (I love the little references they add) or if you want to try out a great open world survival game.

Would be a 10/10 for me IF they had larger servers with more people or the game in general was made with more of a MMORPG target in mind though it's still fantastic in it's current state.

I've watched this project grow from people screeching it was a "scam" in it's infancy to seeing first hand well into $350,000 in assets ranging from map creation and development of systems to TONS of custom dragon models / animations and full life cycles for those creatures.

Now we've entered the soft launch of 1.0 and i'm pretty happy with what we have and i'm looking forward to the release of new updates and creatures. It may be a little rough around the edges but over all i enjoy playing even when i'm not recording :)

I'm torn. This game needs more content because even being released as a EA Game all i could do was run around, talk, chirp, be overly cute and attack a very very small player base.

I see potential. But it's very far away.

Great game with some crazy plans for the future. Don't let negative reviews fool you. This game is going to be a giant in time.

It has it's own bugs but i can 110% confirm there is an extremely dedicated team working on it every day with huge plans.

Played this game and enjoyed it even though it was not a game i usually play. I also did a gameplay of it if anyone wants to see before they buy!
