2¼ tsp (1 packet) active dry yeast
¾ cup warm water (about 40 °C)
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp sugar
1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions:
In a small bowl, dissolve yeast and sugar in warm water. Let sit for 5–10 minutes until frothy.
In a large bowl, mix flour and salt. Add the yeast mixture and olive oil.
Knead for about 8–10 minutes until smooth and elastic (add a bit of flour if sticky).
Place in an oiled bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour (or until doubled in size).
Punch down, roll out, and top with your favorite sauce and toppings.
Bake at 250 °C (480 °F) for 10–12 minutes or until golden and crisp.
