Early Access Review
Story and gameplay is quite fleshed out for this stage of the game's development, and I do dig the army builder style for choosing the loadout for your forces.

Great game all around. As of May 6th after the end of Sony's dumb attempt at throttling this game made by talented developers who put their heart and soul into this masterpiece I am returning my good review.

The mechanics certainly feel weird getting used to at first and the game storyline + characters definitely had a more lighthearted if not quirky divergence from the darker themes of XCOM2. I loved the banter between characters (and if i'm not wrong character development as the game progressed). Definitely recommend this.

During the first hour play of my new lizard empire, I colonized a world that had titanic life on them, which i tried to research to get food. The titans got angry and attacked, so i ordered whatever troops and ships I could muster to help. Just as the fleet was about to land, the land troops perished and somehow the titans took control of the station orbiting above. the 1.4K station destroyed every single ship and troop lander I had.

Oh, and the fallen empire near me established contact and told me to go away, and basically curbstomped me back to the stone age.

5/7 reminds me of high school.
