In terms of build quality, it's about the same as my very first MAM (some parts are better, some are worse). I also saved my first one. It's really interesting to compare and see the evolution from the clunkiest build to perfection.
The shapes with floating layers are so complicated that making them even by hand is quite a puzzle. And even more so, write an algorithm.
An even more interesting task is to find a mistake, that is, to come up with a figure that he cannot handle. Although I have already gone through half of all the existing shapes using my shape generator, there is still a chance to find an error, although it is extremely small.
Honestly I wasnt even gonna make a MAM at first since in my mind when i started playing i just thought ill leave the game when i reach free play but it kinda felt like a bummer to not even try to make one..
I understand that i wont "need" a tmam, but itll be still super interesting to look at, and if I feel masochistic enough ill even try following the guide, thanks for the extension link.
For the MAM (still in works), i followed this guide mainly : deviantart.com/chaotea/art/Shapez-io-MAM-Beginners-Guide-863562458
And honestly 600 hours on one project is crazy work, the guide looks like a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ research paper, actually incredible :)
A regular MAM is enough to complete the game. He doesn't need to be able to make shapes like the logo of a game or a rocket.
My project can make absolutely any possible shape, that's why it's called TMAM - True MAM.
TMAM is aerobatics. None of the crooked, mediocre trash that you can find on steam EVEN implies such a level. (TMAM can be counted on your fingers all over the Internet)
For comparison:
It took me 3 days to build the MAM.
After that, it took 3 months (600 hours) to design the TMAM.
So maybe it's not exactly what you need. After all, 90% of the article is devoted to TMAM. And many primitive things are simply omitted. But even so, I still think that my guide is much more useful than the others.
In addition, my save contains both MAM and TMAM.
You'll be surprised how elementary MAM is in its device if do everything wisely.
Luckily, there's a good extension:

i have made most of a basic MAM using another guide tho, just left with wiring. After completing that one ill look at yours, since i now know the basic concepts behind a MAM i could probably understand yours using the game save. Honestly amazing work on that guide, i can tell its comprehensive without even understanding it ..
