Was outlast any good? Thinking of picking that up.

I really like Shadowrun Returns, but it's fairly short. Based on a pen-and-paper role-playing game so it has a number of different stats/skills to choose and upgrade. They released a toolset so there will likely be a lot of player generated content available later. It's a decent story but I don't think there's a whole lot to really get a new-to-Shadowrun player up to speed on what the world is like in the game. The combat is turn based. Since you're not familiar with Shadowrun, I don't think I could really recommend it at the $20 price tag. Maybe if you see it at $10 and are feeling adventurous.
