The fare of man is most curious indeed, comprising of poisons such as garlick, onion, and cacao. Its fascinating, that such creatures may consume that which would fell another. Methinks I have grown fond of their queer palate: sweetmeats of chocolate, fleshly loaves named burger, their bitter draught of coffee, steepèd leaves called tea, and the crisped hide of swine.
