I was so bored before Arc Raiders came out, I barely played games. I got hooked so quick! First the quests, learning the game and looting. I legit felt a pit in my stomach when I had a full inventory and was hiding in a building because I heard people outside shooting. It was probably like rubber parts or ammo for a gun I didn't have. But I still loved that feeling that I thought was gone with gaming. Now I mostly pvp and getting out with 200k worth of other peoples gear feels so good.

I see myself playing this game for the next 3-4 years as long as updates keep coming out and bugs get fixed. Embark did an amazing job on this game, and with The Finals too.

Ranked is absolutely rigged, the lead Devs have mentioned how they use their patented algorithm to get you to play for longer. By matching you with bad players that main hero's that don't pair well with yours. They make sure you lose once you reach a limit of wins to get you to play longer. Everyone says if you lose 2 games to stop playing for 8 hours and come back...unfortunately this is true. It's crazy how you can win a game and within the first 2 minutes of your next game you can tell its a losing queue. Even in GM1 lobbies...

What's crazy is how often they mention this method, they're gonna lose their competitive audience and kill the game. But I'll still play it for now until something new comes along.

I love Rust and Subnautica so this seemed like a cross between the two. 2 Hours in and I had to look at the time because it flew by. I feel like I made some decent progress by making a boat and a crossbow/armor but there's so much more to play.

I do think the pvp is super clunky and reminds me of a worse legacy Rust. I hope this game is something that they will keep working on, instead of abandoning it 2 years in. It has a great amount of potential.

Jesus f*cking christ, what is this game!
Everything is pretty much great except for ANY TYPE OF COMBAT WHATSOEVER!
I get hit 300meters away from a guy in front of me looking away.
It literally is impossible to fight in any scenario
its an Alpha, not an excuse to make some free money.

Besides the game not letting in 60% of the people that bought it, this game is a huge letdown. The map is an eight of DayZ and of that map around 75% of it is random forest and what seems like endless trees. There is nothing to "loot" from any house since there is a handful of objects on the map at one time. I understand that this is an Alpha stage game. This doesn't give it an execuse to be the biggest letdown game of 2015. The developers also lied to everyone on stream and said this wasn't a pay2win game. You can pay for crates to give you guns and loot while others that don't want to spend money are left to find a couple of hammers in the world. If you are even considering buying this game, don't! This will become a free to play game in a bit so just wait. No need for you to be dissapointed so quickly.
