A deck-building hack 'n slash. Absolutely wonderful.

It's so simple: just draw roads so the cars get where they need to go. Easy. *blinks twice because of being held hostage by this game*

The game has a nice sci-noir conceit and atmosphere, but it has a flawed execution. The time-loop is fun at first, but before long you're performing the same actions repeatedly to reach the same branch of the timeline. The content is a touch threadbare, as I had a number of ideas about how I might progress, but was unable to actually perform any of them within the engine. The game ultimately reduced itself to trying every branch of dialog and fiddling with some objects.

This is a fine game to pick up at a steep discount, but I would recommend waiting until then.

Deliciously story-rich, you piece together what happened to the crew of this vessel. It's like a good mystery book in game form.

Full 3D recreation of the classic puzzle game. An escape room before escape rooms were called that.

Spelunky 2 is everything I ever wanted in a sequel.

Smooth, responsive controls; fair deaths; and even more mystery that I'm still solving.

If you've played any game in the Serious Sam series, you know what you're getting. A macho action-hero all-star kills some aliens!

This game doesn't overthink itself, so don't overthink the game.

You will get great combat against a cadre of different enemies in large, open arenas. Each arena has a different mix of enemies and you'll need to find the best weapon set and target order to clear the arena efficiently.

You will get lots of corny one-liners.

It's not using a cutting-edge engine and the load times are long. I've seen critics neg the game because the graphics aren't the best. I don't care; I'm over here having fun!

A proper remake of Half-Life. True to the original while adding new rooms and puzzles and reworking some of the most awkward parts of the original. Xen is gorgeous.
