I have only played about 10 min in this game; i'm really throwing a positive review to offset the "This game boring into 3 hours of grindy-mothers-basement-play comments. I have high hopes for the rest of this beautiful game.

Here's the thing. I want to be pessimistic about what we've got here. It's really not bad. It's NetEase game, kinda plays like the bones of PUBG with some A.I. that are pretty darn fun to kill. Game plays pretty well - no big complaints here just some small ones. A.I. are a little too braindead sometimes, and there's really been no fight that's "too hard" or gives you any real challenge. (only level 10 at the time of writing this)

To start off, I was truely on the fence. I thought it looked cooler (re-textured) version of Ark Survival Evolved (I know it's got the same maps just on Unreal 5), on the same servers I've spent too much time on. Unfortunately, I've purchased, attempted to play 45 minutes of a game I couldn't connect with others to, only to refund it in its current state on 10/29/23, I'll be back awhile later. Maybe I'll get it later, looked like fun, but it looks like trying to connect to official servers with cross platform is a freaking nightmare.

Was skeptical at first, every Alien / Predator game thus far hasn't been up to par, especially a shooter (blame to Colonial Marines). HOWEVER, I'm greatly pleased with this one so far; think Left 4 Dead vibes with some more customization. Not entirely sure about super long term replay-ability, but the horde mode looks promising, and I'm excited to try to push the difficulty tables on the campaign missions.

You start just by learning and trying to make your way in the wasteland - captured and killed by the holy nation.

Then you try to create a zoo/farm and have 800 pets - then you get attacked by dragon ninjas - then proceed to spend the next 80 hours trying to avenge your fallen and eaten friends.

Then you try to put together a kick ass clan and wipe out everything that screws with you.

THEN you dedicate your time into one single monstrosity of a character, trying to make him the perfect fighting machine.

Then you find Beep. Beep is life. ALWAYS protect the Beep. All Hail Beep.

Beep.

Played 4 hours early on release; promised hope, abandoned by developers, posting for awareness. Do NOT buy.

Here's the thing; the game is amazing, and the devs have done a better job fixing game-breaking bugs; a lot better than Ark's early access. The game has had its breaks, but in reality that's no reason to bash the game to hell and mark it so darn negative. In reality it'll be interesting seeing where they take this expansion come August. Keep it up Devs, I'll still drop in from time to time. Hopefully you'll learn from Wildcard and implement some fixes from the community.

Edit: Well they didn't keep it up. They ♥♥♥♥ the bed and shifted their focus from fixing problems to creating more by slapping this abortion on stilts on xbox.

Edit 2: I've seen more progress on fixing game breaking bugs and improvments on overhauling the UI and development of characters into feeling more complete and less lack-luster. It seems more shiny and polished and is slowly crawling its way to release. I will support these guys through and through, at least until i'm fully burnt out. I've got WAY more enjoyment out of this game in a cost/time ratio compared to other games. So i'll keep supporting them until I'm told otherwise!
