While the campaign of battletech is pretty by the numbers the overall game does not fail to please. The game itself could deal with some additional campaigns or DLC. Once the single player story is done there is plenty of randomly generated missions to play through.

X Rebirth is by far one of the most broken launches in gaming history. While Egosoft significantly walked away from a formula that worked. To make something more consoles friendly, they may have in the long term lost the market that first embraced their vison. Controls are clunky, visuals are terrible and poorly optimized, and overall game performance is about as stable as a schizophrenic on a cocaine bender.
