Note: to play this game you MUST have a controller. Playing without dual thumbsticks will suck.

This game is amazing. It does racing and basically nothing else, but what it does it does REALLY WELL. It absolutely nails the feeling of speed, it feels nice to play, has gorgeous graphics/aesthetics and audio, and is well optimized so you don't drop frames.

I wouldn't normally say I like racing games (I only bought it because the totalbiscuit review was really positive TBH), but I definitely liked this.

A generic zombie game with no real polish, originality, or fun. You could stop reading right now, but if you want to know more then here's some more info:

GAMEPLAY:

You walk until you get to the next checkpoint, or see some zombies. When you encounter zombies, a bunch of them start running towards you, and you have to backstrafe while shooting until they're dead. The #1 challenge here is not walking into a wall and cornering yourself - aiming is dead simple and boring.

Your weapons consist of a generic assault rifle with infinite ammo (that you'll constantly need to reload mid-"fight"), grenades, a shotgun, and possibly other weapons that I haven't unlocked yet. Grenades don't really serve a point as anytime there's something at long range you'll want to use your infinite-ammo gun on them, and anything close-range you'd *think* grenades wouldn't be an option without blowing yourself up.

Anyway, point is you're running backwards spamming each weapon. Every so often there's a gate which doesn't unlock until you kill all the zombies in the area. It's tedious and repetitive - both the gates and the zombie-killing. Sometimes they switch it up a little, like when they have a forklift that you use to lift up an item blocking the way. The forklift is different, but not actually interesting.

There's this janky-as-♥♥♥♥ roll move on spacebar, I'm not sure what it's useful for but maybe it's slightly faster than walking for straight sections? By the way there's no sprint button.

Occasionally there are vehicle sections. You drive the car around and can mow down zombies, or shoot them with the mounted gun.

ASSETS:

Everything is dark and gritty and military-ish. The animations aren't smooth, the roll move *especially* so, and every time there's a zombie attack they play the exact same over-the-top action music, that dies off when you kill the last zombie in the "wave". In fact, you can usually tell when a bunch of zombies are about to swarm you (often from behind), by the random battle music playing for no apparent reason.

Anyway, I wouldn't be remotely surprised if they just bought a generic "zombie assets" pack off the unity store.

IDEAS:

You earn money killing zombies, and that money is used to both 1) upgrade your guns and buy new ones, and 2) buy ammo for your existing guns (and grenades). Which could be interesting.

Problem is, there's no point in saving. Every level of upgrade jumps in cost by an order of magnitude, and you earn way more than you spend when killing zombies. Generally you just want to buy ammo and buy whatever upgrades will get you the most damage, and not really think about it. This doesn't really do anything.

The vehicles could be interesting, if only because basically anything is more interesting than the 1-dimensional zombie fighting on foot. Sadly it's not. There's no depth to it, you drive through zombies while waving your mouse in the general direction of wherever you suspect zombies might be.

In short, it looks like it was designed to fill feature checkboxes. Shoot zombies? Check. Upgrades? Check. Vehicles? Check. Co op? Check. Apparently. Puzzles? Check.

I wouldn't recommend anyone play it, though. It's a soulless me-too game.

It's a lot more fun if you play it 'right' - see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dg5EQyw_7Hk

It's fun, you whack stuff while you're on a motorbike. Missions include whacking N specific targets while on a motorbike, beating a bunch of people in a motorbike race (it's easy to go faster than them, but if you're too far ahead of them then they rubberband, so you basically just need to whack them all), getting to the end in a specific time (while whacking while on a motorbike, because that's the only way you'll get money in those levels), whacking a specific person while on a motorbike...

Story is barebones, also you'll want to play with a controller. Also it can be a bit glitchy at times.

CS:GO Review
Fun, as long as you don't get stuck in casual mode. Play competitive, learn spray patterns, learn some good nade spots and basic crosshair placement.
