What if Doom Scrolling, but fun? "Just one more round...hey where did the last few hours go?" in a way I don't normally get from rogue-likes. I'm not sure why the ingredients work together as they do, but it's some light fun when you need to take your mind off other things.

Small, polished. Tells a simple story well.

Goes all in on death not being the end.

Deliberately ridiculous. Lots of fun despite the attempt to make me care about Gat. I do not care about Gat. Possibly the best flight mechanic I've ever seem in a game. It's really a Saints Row IV DLC so it's shorter than you'd like but still a decent amount of mindless entertainment on offer.

Might not capture all the magic of Gone Home but still a great little story presented well.

The concept of fighting robot dinosaurs with a spear and bow seems ridiculous but somehow it works. Possibly my favourite game of all time. Please don't screw up the sequel.

The first two Torchlight games were good for their time but time has not really been kind to them. Don't buy this game due to nostalgia. Torchlight 3 is hollow and some elements like crafting either don't exist or are sufficiently well hidden that they may as well not be present.

After playing a fair bit of Watch Dogs 2 I thought I'd give this another try. And was pretty quickly reminded that it's really not very good at all. So many annoyances that the sequel fixed conspire to make this just an unpleasant playing experience.
