Great short 7th gen FPS game with an interesting story and satisfying gunplay.

Worth playing.

The Darkness II is an underrated FPS game for sure. An improvement over the first game and you don't need to have played the first to understand the story. The story itself is quite fair, the voice acting is solid and the gameplay is enjoyable.

FIX: If you run it on Windows 11, it may not launch at all. I tried many things but this is what worked for me.

Disable Windows Firewall, restart PC, log onto Steam and right click on The Darkness II for properties, type -w 1920 -h 1080 in the launch options, and try running game.
Remember to enable Firewall again after (hopefully successfully) launching game.

Man, what I wouldn't give for the Darkness 3.
