Love it! Cool little game :) Good fun, I play it on and off, would recommend to everyone for a relaxing time.

Would I recommend this game to other players at my 6-7 hours of playtime as of 07/25/2025?

No.

This game needs more work and LESS BATTLE PASSES. You shouldn't press BATTLEPASSES when the crawlers act WORSE than KF1 crawlers when basic Zed functions are WORSE than KF1 Zeds. When KF2 is a superior game to your 2025 KF3 release, there's problems there.

- Fix T-POSING Zeds.
- Fix HUSKs being super annoyance and not a challange.
- Fix GUNS not being appropriately heavy or feeling correct (as they did in KF2).
- Fix the Pathfinding of ALL Zeds, especially crawlers and REMOVE the tiny baby crawlers entirely until the pathfinding is fixed entirely.
- Fix VoIP/Text chat.
- Fix UI issues.
- Fix UI to work effectively and not confusing.

And many more.... this should have been done on DAY 0 or before. Things like basic Text Chat functionality should have been a thing before launch. Unacceptable for a 30+$ Game of Multiplayer to NOT have text chat!

Good game, Fun, HOWEVER as fun as the game is, the one "issue" would be the "use real money" for skins you can't get with ingame earned currency or levels/perks.

Basically, all skins (except a few specialized reward skins) should be able to be gotten with enough time in game... instead, we're *FORCED* to buy from the store w/ real money. I think it's silly to lock all skins except on daily rotation which will be then lost forever behind a paywall.

At any rate it's a decent play, I find it stupid/silly there's skins and stuff locked behind a paywall for a 30$+ game with ingame currency that can be earned but can't be used except on like 8 skins on daily rotation.

Would I recommend the game in *this* state it is in?

No

Simply put: It's not finished yet. There's MAJOR bugs. MAJOR issues. MAJOR problems.

1) Animation issues. Such as:
- Animations dont play for Z's and causing you to get confused, faked out (not intended function) and die (losing your character, forever...).
- Character animations get stuck, causing you to never be able to run (and die)
- Aiming animations (can't aim weapons, guns, etc causing weird visuals and blocking POV for players)
- Input / Action items and devices, being unable to use items or actions, such as healing in a pinch when seconds count to survive, getting stuck, dying.

Simply you can play but you'll die and lose your character, resetting perks.

Zombies:
Zombie animations, Running zombies, UNKILLABLE Zombies.
- Zombie animations can be weird/faked out players as not intended function
- Running zombies can "Charge" at you and teleport around, attacking you from 40-60-100 feet away, even tho your pings 20-40 and the server is US Based.
- Unkillable zombies, Some zombies are SIMPLY unkillable. They won't die, exploded, shotguns, rifles, hitting, they simply won't die and when paired with running unkillable zombies while you are uncapable of running due to a animation glitch, you're 100% dead every time.
- Weird spawning zombies, running zombies, out of thin air. Sometimes zombies will simply spawn out of thin air, running, some unkillable, ending your game unfairly.

Let's be real: It's a game. It's not that important at the end of the day, but we pay for it and expect a certain level of playability... When you pay for something, you expect some resonable functionality. At this time, the game is literally unplayable sometimes, unfairly punishing you for playing it.

I have faith the Devs will fix this but it needs to be pointed out and documented. Looking forward to making this a "YES!" Review in coming updates. Standby for the new content... NMRIH 1 was great, this will be greater with the upcoming updates.

So after a few hours (24 hours) I understand what this game is. I was entering this game for "Tower Defense" as I've known it and was really, really frustrated... I was literally mad I bought it. One night I sat down while not doing anything and gave it a true honest try.

After 4 hours, unlocking towers, learning the RNG and mechanics I like it. It can be punishing at times unfairly I believe but, for a challenge it is very wide and varying, giving you ups, downs and just unique rolls.

If you don't like a challenge, this game probably isn't for you. I haven't even gotten through the more difficult modules, however I believe this game has the ability to expand.

8 /10 for tower defense. :) I highly recommend.

Is a OK mod for HL2 universe, a different view and look on things. A fun quick play :)

Really cool just to play with, nothing exceptional imo. Would like to see Peds/boats and ability to customaize areas with greener plants/walkways, also would be nice if the night time had a bit more intense lights that flared/reflected off surfaces

Bought this a while back just to snub the fooking media storm that happened after it dropped. It's solid, a quick play, nothing serious. It's just here to make karens and helicopter moms mad.

Loved DOOM 3, You get the classic DOOM with this BFG edition and I thoughly enjoyed them for a short break. Would recommend buying on steam-sale or discounted if possible. Even at full price it's hours of fun regardless.
