God, i've had this account for a decade now... Next year it will have been half my life too. Today is really not the day to try and reflect on life or anything for that matter but it's been a good year.

(1/2) Looks like I forgot to write my annual little account-aversary post last year... maybe I should set a reminder (it being the 4th of July has usually been enough to remind me, so thanks America?)

If a lot had happened when I wrote my last one of these then this time around it's gotta be exponentially more. (2) New home(s), new studies begun and finished. A new life in a new place away from all I used to know.

I don't keep a diary or anything, so this silly little tradition has sorta become a means to reflect on the bygone year. Kinda weird to do on steam of all places but it does make for a fun means of looking back at little snapshots of life. It's really interesting to imagine where I'll be next time I write one of these...

(2/2) Maybe i'll have finally started E (that wasn't even an active thought last time I wrote here I think lol). I'll probably have found a new place to live in yet another new place.
This will be the first time I won't be studying full time, so it'll surely be a year of new experiences and missteps, but I'll manage. I think it'll be fun.

Didn't even realise at the time of purchase but I got myself some new games for this anniversary: Time to finally get into Elden Ring, and the souls-rabbit hole hah. As well as some other cool gems that I know I'll love, like Disco Elysium and Animal Well (so so excited for the latter considering all I've heard about it!) and a bunch more like Celeste and Dishonored (steam summer sale is a harrowing event for my finances TwT)
