the base game is 6 years old and still getting free updates. i have almost 1000 hours in the base game. these devs absolutely deserve my support, and yours.

the dinos may be the cutest things i have ever seen, especially the babies. i could spend all day watching the rhex try to hunt and then miss again and again and again.

this dlc is great, so many fun new materials, plants, and species. there's carnivorous plants added to the mix too. my only regret is that i can't find a new species that has a morph yet.

this is literally such a small price to pay for so many awesome additions to oni. buy the dino dlc fam, you won't regret it. especially if you get it in the bundle and get a 35% discount.

You are over-encumbered.

not only is the UI horrible, but:

the combat units don't get xp

hostile units are impossible to differentiate

you get no notice when you're under attack

you can't destroy hostile barbarian cities, you have to buy their friendship with culture...

when founding a settlement you can't see any details about the land, just if the ai recommends it or not

there are only like 5 land options to choose from when creating a game

honestly, i could go on but there's no reason to. you know if you're going to buy this game or not. we waited a decade for this and it does not give me the nostalgia hit i wanted. i can't believe i paid 130$ for a game where the best part of it is the voice-over...

100% completion in 10 hours is not what i was expecting. i did, however, enjoy the 10 hours and got a new companion out of the deal.

the planet was gorgeous, and the quests and plots were interesting. i am giving this a thumbs up for that reason, but i definitely expected ... more content. if any other company released this dlc, the price point would be more like 9.99.

is this game perfect? no, or it wouldn't be EARLY ACCESS. but my queen went hunting with every one of the neighboring lords then had babies with each of them while my king was suspicious but had no proof so continued to call the lords "loved ones". 10/10 would go hunting again.

i spent 6 hours creating the perfect blend of colonists only to have them all die except one in the first hour. it's ok though, because they were all pregnant and now i have one colonist, 4 prisoners and 5 infants.

10/10 would spend the 6 hours again.

it's oddly enjoyable to go around cleaning up the world, but the item placement on your farm is horrible. i do like the game, and will spend more hours finishing it. i just wish i could make my farm pretty and personalized instead of tossing things in the 4 places they allow.
it was worth the 20 bucks it cost if you're into this vibe

i bought this game and elden ring during the steam winter sale. one i returned after an hour of gameplay. the other i have played for 2 straight days. i'll leave you to figure out which was which.

*Also, like everyone else I am sobbing in Tactics nostalgia and I appreciate the lower price point of the game itself.
