Already very fun at EA build 0.2.2. The type of TD I enjoy the most, and mixing in tetris blocks is an awesome addition.

June 2025 edit: have Steam Deck now, runs very well! Even though the game has native controller support, I still find the Community controller profile that maps mouse and keyboard binds for this game to Steam Deck much faster/better to play with. Not being able to use the touchpads for mouse is way slower.


Final update before 1.0 edit: Emberward is now my favorite TDS. Dev has added many more features over time. We have the regular campaign modes which have also been improved themselves that unlock a chaos mode once you clear them that mixes all the maps together. You have Endless mode with daily/weekly challenges. Then there is the Engima Sanctum which are restrictive more puzzley style maps. Sprinkle in some brutal achievements and you've got something addictive.
