Definitely not worth $60 (nor $30 on sale really *EDIT: $21 in summer 2019, a historic low! A much better price!*), but ignoring the price here on Steam, it's still a great game IMO, far better than I expected it to be when I returned to it after 6+ years. If you can get it for under $15, go for it!

*EDIT December 2020: This next paragraph is out of date. There was a huge influx in hackers in Fall 2020, leading to most of the player base abandoning the game (From ~500 players to ~50 players on a good day, yikes!)*
The claims of the multiplayer being filled with cheaters seem very salty and overblown, or I am just very lucky with my combo of ping, time of day, and who I match with, as I don't encounter anyone cheating in matches. Unless, they are referring to people who cheated to get to max prestige and unlock everything, in which case that is an unfortunately large chunk of the playerbase, but most of those players seem to be absolute garbage at the game. The community is small but dedicated, and seeing the same people multiple times over the course of a few days is to be expected. Very rarely do I not find a lobby, but when I don't, I just search again and I almost always find one.

The campaign is not the best (story-wise) up to this point in the series, as the two time periods the game is set in do not really interact with each other enough to warrant them being told in parallel IMO. I'm not surprised, as it's written by David S. Goyer, the head of the DC Extended Universe. Disappointingly, the heavily marketed story of a possible US-China tech war is left to a couple near-storyless mini-games, possibly to avoid a real international PR conflict, like Battlefield 4 faced with its China Rising DLC. However, in the end, it's just nice to see Woods and Mason again, and I enjoyed the near-future romp alongside Michael Rooker. Gameplay-wise, the campaign is futuristic enough to prevent the game from feeling stale, but not enough that the game stops feeling like Call of Duty, and that's a good thing! It's happily par for the course.

As far as Zombies is concerned, unless you want to shell out an insane amount of money for the DLC packs for the good ol' Zombies maps from World at War and Black Ops, just buy those games if your focus is the Zombies experience.

Thanks to mods, this game became my religion.
Skyrim is my love, Skyrim is my life.
The only god I worship is Talos the mighty, Talos the unrelenting.

PS. My Steam hours are a lie, I've spent at least 6 times that playing the game.
