really good game, enjoy the different charm combinations. some seem a little silly or like something no one would ever actually use. a handful are must gets.

So, I dove back into the deep end, and wouldn't you know it, twenty years is just a concept, not a barrier. The last time I was this invested in a racing game, the internet was still making strange dial-up noises. I'm talking about back when I was running TXR Zero on Dreamcast, then TXR3 on PS2. You know, back when you had to earn your stripes instead of just having some annoyingly cheerful AI hand you a McLaren for coming in dead last.

It’s been a minute, but the good news is, this game is a glorious return to form. I honestly can't tell if this specific title is a masterpiece, or if the series itself is just pure gold. It's so good that I think you could probably get the same hit of dopamine just by upscaling TXR3 to 4K and 60Hz.

The best part? That muscle memory is still there. It took a few hours of stumbling around, but now I’m back to my old tricks. There’s nothing quite like doing a precise 180-degree drift to double back and find the rival you accidentally left miles behind. It’s a ridiculous, but highly effective, way to start a race.

If you’ve been complaining about how modern racing games have lost their soul, this is your answer. There's no nauseating, chipper tone telling you how "amazing" you are for failing. There’s no loot box wheel giving you a free super car. You start with something humble, like a Nissan 240SX, and you have to work for every single bit of progress. The grind is the fun part, not a chore.

two games in one. the one with Nathan Drake is really good. totally worth playing. the other one, with two women- let me tell you, insufferable. the lesbian tension, innuendos, all men bad- feminism, is just awful. sure, you can skip the cut scenes- but they literally never shut the ♥♥♥♥ up. I play video games to escape that sound, not be force into listening to more of it.

Highly recommend. I always liked the idea of X-Com, but just couldn't really get into it. Played Mutant Year Zero a while back on Game Pass, and was thrilled to see this came out- despite me being a year late to the party.

Gameplay is fun, weapons and abilities are nice, and the ability to free roam/explore makes this a solid 10/10 for me. Looking forward to the next follow up.

this is a good VS style bullet hell game. It has a lot going on, good upgrades and a rewarding progression style system. highly recommend if you're in to this genre.

in my opinion, this is the pinnacle of these bullet hell type games. I try to get into Vampire Survivors, and just do not personally enjoy the purposefully bad graphics.

This one, having four characters with three load outs each, and a variety of weapons - plus decent graphics, gives a reason to keep playing.

In the future, would be awesome to have multiplayer and/or couch co-op.

As an Alabama chicken owner in real life, can say that this is a mostly realistic simulator.
