This game is the best in it's genre. The only wish I have is that it was more challenging. I want settlers to have more needs that need to be fulfilled (similar to Anno 1800, religion, hygiene, entertainment), and to have bandits attack my settlements (like going medieval). Otherwise I love it, and couldn't find anything better than this.

This is by far the best game in the series.

UI sucks. Glitches suck. Those are very valid comments. It frustrates me myself a lot. Diplomacy is also underwhelming and AI can be better. They DEFINITELY underpaid their testers and straight up ignored quality checking/assurance.

But if you are reading reviews about people whining about changes about not being able to use tanks against archers - ignore those. For the first time I am equally excited throughout the entire game, and not just early beginning.

Suprisingly, changing to different Civilization each age actually makes things very exciting! I thought it was weird at first but it genuinely makes so much sense.

Each era has unique gameplay and goals and I love it. Maybe modern era can be spiced up a bit, but I think they nailed Ancient and Exploration eras very well.

They also took lessons from Civ 6 districs and what worked well in Civ 5 and combined the two together very well.

Overall, once the bugs are fixed - this game is the best 4X in the genre hands down.

Ubisoft online/connect and Denuvo are a combination from hell. I don't want to sign in to some stupid account to play OFFLINE. Will make sure to PIRATE everything by Ubisoft
