I have played G mod since the very early days. I really liked the sandbox mode and just being able to goon around. Some of the game modes that people have come up with are genius. Pretty much all the servers now are RP (role playing) which is definitely not my cup of tea, but I guess that play base is what has kept G mod going. Worth checking out. Very nostalgic for me.
