Insomniac's Lounge

It's late and you are walking down the wide sidewalk. People are passing you by covered head to toe in clothes. Hats, jackets, caps, gloves, you name it. Nobody looks at eachother. As you're walking you notice that the people vanish into bars or clubs to prepare for the consuming night.

You get curious about the going ons in these places. Soon you find yourself standing outside a hole in the wall place. Unlike the other buildings people dissappear into this one was just a narrow door inside the wall of some building. The only thing that displayed its existence was the blue neon sign outside hanging on the wall,

"INSOMNIAC'S LOUNGE".

You poke your head in to check it out.

Alright, what is up I am Callacas and I wanted to create a Steam Group with a sense of identity and Community. A place that is cozy whare people want to play games together and joke and have fun.


keep it small: if the group is small then we could keep it focused and pay attention to individual member's needs.

drive discussion: We wouldn't be much of a community if we didn't get together and chat every once in a while.

play games together: Even if it's rarely, just getting together and choosing a game we can all play together would be great.


As far as events go I think that we will have a few weekly threads in the forums. And a few in game get togethers. I also would like to do game givaways in a raffle style. The rules would be simple, every member gets a free entry. And if a member wants to add their name into the pool more than once they would have to donate a game to the giveaway. I would also like to do events for the hollidays although I am not sure what to do yet.


The forums are your personal platform. Want to give a game review? Go ahead. Want to give commentary on the gaming industry? It's your show. You just want a place to ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥? Do it.

And since we're on the subject of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, discussions will always be given priority over ♥♥♥♥ posts. That means that if the forum is crowded with ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ after ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ to the point whare discussion becomes drowned out then those ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ will be removed. The only time whare this is not true is in the "Thursday ♥♥♥♥ You" threads.


This deserves a place of it's own. You heard that if you don't have anything nice to say don't say it at all, right? Well this thread unapologetic and unpolitically correct. The topic is what happened this week in the gaming industry. Make sure to all your posts are typed in caps lock Make sure to tell your funniest jokes, your most brutal insults, and your dankest memes.This thread will be stickied on Thursdays to the forums with the date on it. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ is welcomed there. The ♥♥♥♥ You thread is for fun and don't take anything said there seriously.
