Seraphim's Tournament Place for the Rest of Us!

I realize I have been messaging-bombing the wrong section, and that I should instead use my privledges to post here, where people may choose whether or not they would like to respond. (Or read for that matter)

For those of you who missed my original thesis, I'd like to reintroduce the idea and get some good ol' feedback from ZEVA (Hallowed be thyne name). For those members who do not know me, I have a flair for.... lets say the dramatic. I enjoy making YouTube videos featuring great players doing what they do greatly. My focus is rarely on myself; unless I've played what I consider to be an exceptional game.

BUT, in truth it has become a bit tedious without a theme. So, I thought what better way to introduce myself, and ourselves, as a group? (ZEVA be praised) In short, I popose to introduce the individual players of ZEVA through their own footage and their own words.

Now I can not stress this enough, THIS IS FOR FUN, THIS IS FOR WHATEVER RESULT YOU WISH TO HAVE. I can't think of a better way of introducing ourselves to one another than through examples of games we have played and enjoyed. I will ask each player a few questions they are free to answer or not. Or they may just tell me exactly what they want to say... Or co-commentate with me, or do so in a group! It's dealer's choice!

I have already talked with a number of members who are quite keen on doing this. And they have already begun to supply all the nessicary information that I will require in order to make these videos. If you are interested (And please say that you are), the first step wil be to send me a friend request (I plan on doing that with everyone anyway).

Secondly,I request that you find your most recent, best Total War Rome 2 game which reflects your Total War prowess. When you have found that perfect game, email it to me at: seraphimtotalwar@gmail.com

Thirdly, the point of this is not ONLY to show off your best games, but also to get to know you as a ZEVA (Be Praised) clan member, so in order to do that I would like to talk to you, OR you may provide me with a written statment about yourself. Again, my goal is for everyone to get to know one another. This does NOT have to be serious. But that doesn't mean that is has to be a comedy either. What you want to say about yourself, and how you would like to portray yourself is entirely in your hands. I am also always happy to help if you need a little help enlivining your words ;) ALSO, if there is anything on the web that you want people to see, like you in some sport like football, or standing next to your car, or surfing, or WHATEVER I can also edit that footage into your game file. I'm here to help you make a video profile you can be proud of, however you choose to do that.

Have fun with it! For example: Perhaps Serahim is a one-legged pirate, who lives on a half sunken Spanish Galleon and makes his living thieving from the natives; which is what contributes so heavily to his Salty demenour. Heh! (There is a lot of near truth in there too!)

That being said perhaps your Steam handle is historically motivated and you would rather talk about that. These videos are all about YOU! I want this to be fun, and not so much a chore. But I also don't mind if you are a serious person and would mutch rather take the video seriously. Nothing wrong with discussing tactics and history, or for that matter; introducig a funny and false persona i.e. "Stephen Colbert."

As of this moment 4 members have already submitted their video selections, although they have not yet entered much personal (or fake personal) biography. So, please, if you can find the time to sit down and talk with me, I will make the time for you (Time zones be damned, I'll make the effort).
Lastly, I'd like to enclose a rough questionaire of potential topics that might spark some interest. They range from odd, to tactical disscusion, to historic, to humous, and to personal topics, as well as to Creative Arts business models. Hell. you dont even need to answer a single one, but PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE provide me wirh enough material so that I can speak about you throughout the match you send me.

So here is a list of questions so far, please feel free to update them and make better suggestions, they are by no means final or immutable (In fact if someone submited their own questions and then we sat down and taped an interview, I'd freaking love it):

12. Suggestions for ZEVA leadership?
13. Which players in ZEVA would you like to watch play best of X/Y?
14. How can tournaments be improved?
15. Who hosts the best tournaments and why? What can we learn?
16. Are there any ideas you have for tournament, or perhaps even greater meets beyond a tournamnet format?
17. How do you feel about friendly gambling (low sum, or pot sum) in TW?
18. Are there players who rarely play, or have stopped that you would like to contact?
19. If you could talk directly to Creative Arts, what would you ask them to change about their franchise?
20. Do you have a favorite historical person/period/empire/book/movie?
21. Is there any bad blood amongst clan mates that you'd like to clear up?

These are clearly just suggestions, if you would rather write something to me when you submit your game, I would be happy to read it aloud and follow your instructions.
If on the other hand, you have some free time we can meet online and I can record us having a scripted, or just a free conversation. There is a lot to say about a man who is willing to be interviewed in my opinion.
I have nearly completed the first segment for ZEVA Mr. Chaplain, and his story comes along with a catchphrase, I'll save it for when I release the video. But I just wanted to share that.

PPS: You are by no means obligated to do this. This is a labor of love on my behalf. I've been treated well be the community and this is my way of giving back. It does represent an enourmouse amount of time and care, especially if I get my wish and get to interview some of you. Who knows, I may someday write a book about this. (Might actually be fun tbh). To those of you who know me, and know just how serious I can be when I set out to accomplish a thing, all I request is a little support by way of participation.
