What is WTT&T?

War Thunder Teamwork and Tactics is a Steam group devoted to playing War Thunder with a more realistic cooporative approach. We set up regular custom games for our members in which we set teams up with squadrons/squads who will communicate within that group. All our missions are flown with planes of specific nations for realism. E.g. Poland [Battle] will be fought with Russians as the Allied faction and Germany as the Axis faction. If playing War Thunder with a more mature group as opposed to being put into games with random people who suffer from tunnel vision, teamkilling, ramming and verbaly abusing one another, then we could very well be the group for you!

Am I expected to turn up to every event?

No, attend our events as frequently as you want, even players who join us for one event a month are more than welcome among our ranks.


Are there specific limitations on what I can fly?

In a way yes. When we organise a game we will list all aircraft for both sides that will be flying. For example, Axis may have slots for 3 BF109's. 3FW190's and 3 HE111's. We generally would allow different variants of these aircraft for the reason that not every player could be expected to own every variant of plane. We would do our best to ensure the teams are balanced so that the variants wouldnt differ from something as basic as a [Merlin] Spitfire MK I to a [Griffin] Spitfire mk 22.

I dont play Aircraft, I am a tanker, vise verca. Can I still take part?

There is no reason why you have to fly in a plane if you don't want to at all. We try to make almost every game a mixed tank/aircraft battle so If you prefer using tanks then sign yourself up for one of the tank slots instead. All the balancing techniques are set up for Tanks as well as aircraft.

Do you ever plan to fly Arcade battles?

Most likeley not, no. Nothing is stopping you from playing Arcade battles with other people even if you are part of our group as we understand some people prefer Arcade battles for gaining experience.

Do you ever plan to fly Simulation Battles?

While many including myself own Joysticks/HOTAS systems we have not yet planned on any Simulation battles for the reason that the players without Joysticks and HOTAS systems miss out. I myself use a HOTAS while flying in Realistic battles and there generally isnt a reason why you can't other than if you find it difficult to use a joystick, you may be at a disadvantage. That being said, I would strongly consider doing Simulation battles if some members were to get together and ask me about considering it.
