Unfortunately Jack's Jitsugen Matchpoint CS:GO Tournament was canceled.

It's time to come up clean and honest.

Organizing a tournament requires manpower, responsible control, and willing participants who are able to partake in it. Name the deadline, a reasonably long starting date for the tournament that everyone can prepare with allotted energy without a rush that would sour the competition really fast. It also requires a large growth of an audience that would either watch, with some able to participate.

This is something I really lack, and it is with heavy heart to announce it: I am cancelling the tournament. Something that you need to know about is: I'm not a large figure in the scene to organize a tournament in such a state that I am in. As issues go, no matter how small or big, I am occupied with other stuff rather than having to prepare for this tournament that I may have at first thought of in my plans on Vite's premiere. I would've thought of making a game tournament as this fun and niche thing for some easy prizes to give out to the participants who stayed for the ride, but unfortunately, I don't have the capacity nor the participants to do so. I also have other stuff to tend to, such as daily outside walking and possibly going out for a swim, doing modding and content production, as well as a few other things in the equation. It's best for me to leave the tournament organizing shtick to someone who has the time, effort, energy and resources to do it right, since for me, it feels like doing that head-first without proper planning really shreds the house of cards down real quick.

With that said, I deeply apologize for any inconvenience that may seem to offput anyone that has been looking forward to this tournament. I am just simply unprepared for it and don't have the time to make it into a proper tournament for a small audience to watch and enjoy what could've been some fun mixed with adrenaline on the match. It only seems to take a toll on me to do it alone, and without the allocated participants, it feels heavy. The registration form has been pulled down as well, since I am already certain that the tournament would end up becoming a ghost town without an audience, nor the contestants needed in mind. I can spend better time on other things than just that, and so should you in case organizing goes wrong and empty.

Hopefully this will be a thing again in the future, as it's not possible to happen right now.
