The UEA is the governing nation of Earth starting from the 2300's, formed in the wake of a massive total war between the nations of Earth and several colonies in 2279-2296. It rules over Earth as well as all colonies in the Sol system(our system), several colonies in the Orion Arm of the Galaxy, and other colonies as well. After the previously mentioned war, most colonies were unified under our banner, but a new threat is emerging, one that is not human.

The UEA's governmental system is monarchial, with three tiers of central government ranking. The second tier is sort of like the USA's Senate, with representatives from all colonies. The third tier involves the governors from the colonies deciding on internal matters. Note that although Senators are higher than the governor's council, senators act in respect to the Govenor's interest.
