Blurryface

Blurryface (2015) is the fourth studio album by Twenty One Pilots and their breakthrough into mainstream success. Expanding on their signature blend of alternative, hip-hop, and electronic influences, the album explores themes of self-doubt, anxiety, and identity, personified by the character "Blurryface." This is arguably later retconned to mark the beginning of the lore in their future albums. Featuring hit singles like "Stressed Out," "Ride," and "Tear in My Heart," the album’s genre-defying sound and introspective lyrics resonated with a wide audience. Blurryface became the first album in history to have every track certified at least Gold by the RIAA, solidifying Twenty One Pilots as a defining band of the 2010s.
