The Specialists

The Thief Guild is comprised of only the highest caliber of role-players. Members are selected in secret for their talent, and finesse when it comes to role-playing. This organization has existed since 2006 in the Half-Life 1 Mod named The Specialists. It has spanned across a number of servers since that time. Due to our history, the Guild is composed of older, more talented role-players compared to any other organization or group. We have been very successful on the servers we role-played on, and we brought a wealth of role-play to each server we entered.

The sole purpose of this Guild is to make a profit in The Specialists Role-Play. We use only a minimal amount of weaponry when conducting our work, and our scenarios with other players have been carefully role-played in the past. Discretion is one of our most highly valued traits, and, unlike the other gangs or criminal organizations, the avoidance of bloodshed when possible is an important element within the Guild.

In the past, our methods have included pre-arranged pickpocketing of 'marks', or victims we selected beforehand, the mugging of unfortunate, lone role-players in various alleys or abandoned buildings, the careful hacking and emptying of automated cash machines, skillfully role-played hold-up scenarios with businesses and restaurants, coordinated bank heists, breaking-and-entering into rival businesses' or organizations' property, and more.

We are a talented, intelligent conclave of role-players within the Thief Guild; we attract and recruit only the very best. Our actions have produced enjoyable role-play within every server we have played on, creating moving scenarios, and profiting servers by attracting new players who are interested in joining our ranks after hearing about us.
