The Good War

The core concept of The Good War community is to be a player driven community in the game Foxhole. Since Foxhole has multiple servers to join and every server has its own war with a lot of different players joining in and out and no real coordinated core team, at times you might feel like the war you are fighting is not really yours or that you don't know what has to be done or even feel like you don't have an impact on the battlefield. It might even feel distanced, instead of the full immersion you would like from a game as Foxhole.

The Good War believes that, more than in any other game, effective teamwork is a requirement for victory in Foxhole and wants to give you a place where you are able to just that. A dedicated server where you will play as a team and where everybody in the server is playing for the same cause; winning the current war by playing as a coordinated team and having a solid ground for tactics, logistics and communication!

The idea behind The Good War community is that the battlefield is coordinated by (you!) the players of the community, meet likeminded players that are playing Foxhole for its teamplay possibilities. Eventually our goal is to have a well structured community where the plans on the battlefield will be communicated thoroughly via mission and setups on the forum/discord or adhoc ingame. Setting up operations to push your enemy back or maybe make the final push for victory. Stay up to date about logistics that need to be done or technology that needs to be researched. The Good War is all about a full scale, well coordinated and fully teamplay environment. Get to know your buddies and you enemies the longer you play in this community and give a whole new touch to Foxhole like never before!

As all of the above is merely a concept at this moment, since the community has to grow and adept to what the players would like to see it is pointless to go into details too much, but we'll outline our concept plans below. We also have been in contact with Clapfootgames and they supported our concept and will make a server available for us (EU) very soon!
