With a namesake inspired by the wor- I mean best of internet entertainment, The Chiseled Toasters are a UK-based group of University students who enjoys video games, particularly Team Fortress 2.

We are also the home of the cast and production team of the (yet to be named) video series "The C Unit"

Below are the names of the characters in need of voices, accompanied by a bunch of lines I want you to act out for the audition. You can send your audition "tape" as an MP3 to my email (gregbaxter@btinternet.com) or as an unlisted Youtube video link.

NOTE: I would also like at least 1 line of improvisation with said character to be included, this way I can get a handle of your acting ability.

"Guys, I see them BLU N00bs coming this way. We gotta frag 'em or our K/Ds doomed man!"
"Yeah! *laughs* I can taste yo salty tears from here n00bs!"
"Know what, you stay behind me, I'm armed ♥♥♥♥♥, and I want some frags!"

"My father once said, "Son, never write a birth certificate whilst recieving open heart electrical surgery", he was wise like that."
"Spies...there! No there! Wait, mah machines! SPIES!"
"*Chuckles* You know, if you weren't so pre-occupied shoutin', you might a' heard your boys crying after my mini-sentry shot them down."

"By Arthur's scabbard! Those rouges hath stolen land from the king! Come fellow men of noble colours, thy duty awaits!"
"Your witchcraft won't guard you from my noble blade you odious gremlin!"
"Victory! Come nobleman, to home! We drink to the king's blessings and our grand feat!"

"A Sudden beat of heart, left to flee as bullet...hu-art? No no, too forced. Hmm, fart? No, this ballad can't be a comedy, have I gone mad?!"
"No nobler his mind be, as round of copper peirced thee. That could do it."
"Splendid! We have ceased their task with no questions to ask!"

"General? Are you alone? I need a word with you, privately."
"This "C Unit" of yours General is faltering, and I will not be here once Captain Crocket takes over the whole server."
"Intelligence has told me that the BLU brigade is taking refuge in the Badlands. I hope that your team aren't too stupid to know how to travel."

*Captain Crocket*
"You Soldier, take the roof. Scouts go around the sides. Demoman, you stay here and lay sticky bombs down. Medic, follow me."
"Ha! And you became a General huh Jones? I'm unimpressed, then again, what more can I expect from a turncoat?"
"Y-You...I'll be back Jones, and when I do, it'll be just me...and you!"

C Unit Update (28/06/2012)

Yeah yeah, I already posted an announcement yesterday but still. We now have more characters:

Dr. Fritz "Blitz" Baun: A Medic rejected from other teams due to his neglegence towards his proper job as a healer, instead wanting to engage in combat at almost every opportunity. He speaks in slang from first person shooter games, much to the confusion of his team.
Costume: Surgeon's Stalhelm + Ze Goggles + Quadwrangler
Loadout: Blutsauger

Glitelish "Glitch" Sparkison Jr: A cyborg Engineer whose nearly 100% electric brain has proven to be poorly designed, so much so, he suffers from the belief his machines are sentient, leading him to believe they are spies.
Costume: Virtual Reality Headset + Googly Gazer [Machine in the Man style] + Pip Boy
Loadout: Widowmaker

Jock "Highlander" McManus: After a horrific explosives accident taking his leg and damaging his phycological thinking, this Demoman swore against using explosives, instead arming himself in Medeval armoury and becoming a Knight. His change of identity resulted in Highlander speaking as if a knight of the Arthurian era, even treating his team as though they are followers and loyal friends of King Arthur.

Leon "Shakey" de Ponce: Despite being a relatively competent Sniper, Shakey suffers from the drawback whereby upon a successful headshot, Shakey takes it upon himself to exercise his artistic, thespeian mind and write a ballad on his latest kill. As one can imagine, this leaves Shakey to be very prone, not helped by how persistent he his on making the poem perfect.
Costumes: Larrikin Robin + Outback Intellectual

Marcel "Ghost" Laurent: Unlike the rest of his team, this Spy is remarkably skilled at his job and proves to be a key source of intelligence gathering as well as general espionage. But like most professionals, Ghost has little patience for his somewhat inept team, often absent from the rest of the team and tries to interact with them as little as possible, resulting in him meeting General Stick almost exclusively.
Costumes: Detective Noir + Made Man
Loadout: Varies on missions, thereby ruining the point of even bothering to note.

I would also like to state that I plan on holding auditions for all characters without confirmed voice actors, that would be all of above and Captain Crocket. More info to come later.
