for those of you who have joined the cal team, or are planning to join the cal team, a clarification needs to be made on what a SteamID is. it is not your steam login/username, but in fact a unique number designated to you in left 4 dead.

to access this number, start up Left 4 Dead, and join a server. once in the server bring up the console (~) and type in "status". A list of players in the server with information regarding them will come up. Find yourself on the list, and look for a number next to it that says "Steam_1:1:18266188" in that format (not that actual number, that's my steam id as an example). copy the part thats just the numbers (1:1:18266188) and that is your steamID. make sure to update this on the CAL page, other wise we won't be scheduled for any matches and will miss the season. thank you. pwnage.
