Hey guys, just a last minurte reminder of how to make the best purchasing decision during the Summer Sale - cut and paste from the r/gaming post on Reddit:

The Guidelines for Surviving the Summer Sale Originally posted here, with much thanks to /u/Rogenhamen

- Don't buy games unless they are a Daily Deal, Flash Sale, or Community Choice (you may have to wait for your game, but it'll save you $$$ in the long run)

- If a game hasn't been a DD, FS, or CC buy it on the last day of the SSS (getting it at the SSS discount is better than full price or not at all)

- If a CC deal does't include any games you're looking for choose the biggest discount best deserving game vote or don't vote there's always 2 sides to every story (just because you don't want any of the CC games doesn't mean that other people feel the same way)

- Purchase games as gifts, too many times have I seen people buy a bunch of games just to have them sit in their library and never get played. If you purchase them as gifts you can instal them when you want or trade them with friends.

- Use your wishlist to keep track of games you really want, when they go on sale Steam will email you about the discounts.

ALSO, check out the "Enhanced Steam" Google Chrome plugin (available for free in the Chrome Web Store) - adds tons of featues to help you keep track of games you want, comparison shop prices, track sale prices to see if it's a best buy, stats on number of players in multiplayer, compatibility issues, etc!

FYI - It's rumored the Steam Summer Sale of 2014 will start June 19th, and run until June 28th, with an extended period until June 30th.

Remember, Reddit and other social media w/ gaming subcultures will track buying options, and help you time the best purchase. For several years now, the Steam sales have followed the same structure, and the following rules may help:

Games will be heavily discounted, with new deals each day, and new "flash" sales every 8 hours. Here's some tips for maximum bang for your buck:

1.) In any Steam sale, use this rule: Until the last day of the sale, DON'T BUY A GAME UNLESS IT'S A DAILY DEAL, FLASH SALE, OR COMMUNITY CHOICE..

The Daily Deals, Flash Sales, and Community Choices are even better discounts than the regular "background" discounts offered. They don't show up in every sale, but when they do they are the best time to buy. See a game you want that isn't one of these special deals yet? Just be patient and wait... if it shows up as a special sale, grab it - if not, you can still get it for the regular discount on the last day of the sale.

2.) keep in mind that when the steam sale hits, typically Amazon, GoodOldGames, GreenmanGaming, etc also launch competition sales of their own. Short story is, you win if you check out who has the best price - even during the Steam Sale, it may not be Steam! Reddit's Games "subreddit" ( http://www.reddit.com/r/Games/ ) is also a reallty good source of Steam Sale news.

3.) Putting stuff on your Steam Wishlist is a easy way to track prices at a glance. Steam will even email you if you want when a game on your wishlist goes on sale. Who knows, a Steam buddy may just see you want a game and buy it for you too...

4.) Finally, keep in mind that people will trade games if you keep them unredeeded in your inventory, or as codes only. So that means if you buy a bundle to get games you want at a great price, but it comes with games you already have, you could possibly trade them for something you want. Check out:

If you were playing with me during the C.S. G.O. End of the Year Blowout I may or may not have persistently told you to change you team tag to the steam group. Many people were asking how to do that. If you were not playing while I was then follow these steps.
In game press ESC, then go to "Help and Options" -> "Game Options" -> "Team Tag (From Steam Groups
*Note*
Our Team Tag is: BMCTC
If all the players on the team(excluding bots) have the same team tag then the team name is changed.

Go to this website to customize your ingame crosshair for CS:GO

When you are done you can just copy the variables from the line (below the words Copy/paste variables to config or config to textfield) and then paste them into the developer's console* while ingame,and then you have your own unique crosshair to use ingame.

Here's mine:
