Naval Special Warfare Development Group

Tactical Development Squadron 4, known as Red Squadron, is one of four assault squadrons within the United States Naval Special Warfare Development Group, or DEVGRU. Red Squadron is made up of highly experienced and selectively screened operators with backgrounds in SEAL Teams and other special operations units.

The squadron specializes in direct action, counter-terrorism, hostage rescue, and high-value target operations. Missions are often classified, high-risk, and conducted under extreme conditions with minimal support. Red Squadron maintains a high operational tempo and is expected to execute with precision under pressure.
