Knife is our life?

(continued from part 1)
We do not give two ♥♥♥♥♥ about HLStats or points. The amount of points you have has no reflection on how good you are as a player, and we leave that to the kiddies. We do NOT give a ♥♥♥♥ about points.

We are all renowned for three things: our surfing abilities, our scouting abilities, and our knifing abilities. The name of the clan is Surf. Scout. Knife. Of course I don't expect you to play scopeless scouts and knives all the time at all (who the ♥♥♥♥ enjoys that?), but I would LOVE to see some effort in maintaining the three aforementioned skills. You should be pro at no scoping with a scout, and playing with a scout in general. You should be able to get a positive KPD by playing knives only. You should win majority of knife fights. I want people to look at the tag and think "Aaah, ♥♥♥♥, I ain't gotta chance."

The above point alludes to my next point: I would like to see a decrease in shotgunners and awpers. Just know that when I say that, I don't mean "OH MY GOD YOU'RE AWPING, YOU'RE KICKED FROM SSK". That's just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stupid. I mean that we should never be whoring kills, by camping in a single area with an awp, or getting most of our kills with the kiddies favourite weapon (shotgun). We don't want to come across as "your general surfing noobs" (and by that I mean, perma-awping or perma-shotgunning). Feel free to play awps/shotguns, but don't ♥♥♥♥♥ kills with them (especially in pub games). Using guns to get achievements is acceptable. :3

My next point is that we are MATURE and HUMBLE. I kicked Sly from SSK for his overweaning pride in his feeble surf skills. Gloating when you kill somebody (unless it resulted from incredible pwnage) is frowned upon. Showing off with surf skills is also just annoying. We're good surfers, we don't need to do backflips and flick our mouse around the screen to show that to everyone. We surf for fun. We don't surf for anybody's entertainment, so DON'T intentionally show off. Just surf the way you want to (whether that be side surfing, backwards or whatever; just don't say "OMG EVERYONE SPECTATE ME I'M GONNA DO NY_ADVANCE SIDEWAYS" - which is what Sly pretty much said to new players asking how to surf. Don't turn into Sly).

Next point is GENERAL RESPECT. I don't want no bad blood among our clan members. We ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ respect each other. We do not ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bad mouth a fellow SSK member for any reason. Speak to me if you want to make comments regarding other player's position in the clan.

I also want to see some for activity from all players. We should be the regulars that pwn the noobs every night (ok, not every night, but you know what I mean). And by that I mean, Acid, stop being addicted to TF2 :< we miss your surf skills!

And my final point, we all need to know the underlying mechanics of surf. It's a LOT more complicated than it seems, and you can only learn it from experimenting and trying out different things. But basic things, such as telehopping, surfing smoothly and bunny hopping should be mastered by EVERYBODY. There are lots of other mechanics behind surf that I wish everybody mastered, but obviously that can't be expected, such as ways to survive deathly high falls, mastering speed boosts, speed surfing, side-ways surfing, backwards surfing, switch-surfing and of course skill surfing, but wa'eva. I'll be more than happy to explain anything to anybody. Just ask. And I'm also quite keen to have a practice session where we can all reveal secrets and telehops on regularly played maps.

But yep, that concludes this unnecessarily long announcement. I hope the gist of what I was saying came across clearly.
Just know that I'm not gonna come down hard on anybody. As I said, we're all here to have fun. But I'm sure we would all like to improve our image...
