Strike Vector game! Lets play

Hi there, is anyone here still interested in playing StrikeVector? I just stumbled upon the upcoming StrikeVectorEX for Steam on rockpapershotgun.com and found it awesome. My question is: Do you guys think the original is still worth buying or if I should wait for the new EX version to be release? I would like to hear your thoughts on this.
