La SEAL TEAM 6 a été fondée une première fois sur Project Reality, forte d'une trentaine de membres, sous le nom de 21th Airborne Division. Après un ennui général auprès de l'abandon de Project Reality, la team s'est dissoute pour prendre une autre route, qui mènera à un "multigaming entre-amis". Avec la sortie de SQUAD, la team reprend pied et se décide à se reformer sous le nom actuel ST6, toujours avec ses notions de rôleplay tant convoitées.
