XSL

SSF also known as Skillful Soccer Freaks is a football/soccer clan that was built in early 2007 to compete in the XSL Division then ran by Signa and Spam.

The SSF clan participated in season 3, 4, 5, 6, pre-season 7 and 10.

Blade ran SSF with complete control over all clan duties in the early seasons. SSF won season 3 Division 2 at their first attempt.

In Season 4 the league became one and that is when SSF felt the heat and struggled to adapt with the high intensity and the greater players on show.

Season 5 was all about change, Blade demanded changes. With Soad leaving Scandice, this was Blade's first opportunity to try and bring in somebody with experience and with a mixed reputation in the XSL who better? As his career thus far was based on his skill and not his attitude. Soad was recruited as part of the team, days after-wards Blade granted Soad co-leadership and the clan recruited rookies and season regulars such as Achilles, Alonso, Shockii, Fedora, Hexokain, Waggy, Ramme and Sorsa. SSF had a really good season defensively and managed to prevent the big teams like ISSD to narrow 3-1 losses. The highlight was an incredible game VS FG, FG won but the game was so tight between SSF and FG that we all applauded one anothers efforts. SSF finished 4th in season 5.

In season 6 SSF was changing again. SSF replaced most of the team and brought in the German's after Soad's temporary exit.

Season 7 was plans, plans and more plans. Blade and Soad completely stripped the clan and went back to basics this time recruiting the likes of Matt, Yoshi, Lanky, Doomer, Cris, Vinni and Tatsumatu. The clan was also keeping a very close eye on other upcoming talents like Rmin. Season 7 pre-season was going great, the clan was active, the team was performing and the clan was getting wins under its belt. Season 7 then turned sour with personality clashes being the main problem and Blade decided to close the clan, most of the members left to join a new clan built by Porridge.

SSF was gone for an entire 3 seasons. In late 2010 Blade and Soad had a very good idea, and that was to recreate SSF.

The clan brought in many more new faces. This time with Bilikien, Dom, Raya, Galileo, Alave, Rmin and Carrick. Inactivity prevented SSF from being a genuine contender and the slick style team performances turned into a mess as activity during the exams period took it's toll on SSF. The clan performed so well against the likes of FCD, sL and xGoal. This team could match opponents with it's strongest team, but the strongest team wasnt around all season long. The clan made it to the final of the cup and only just got beat vs FCD. Blade decided to close the clan after-wards as problems with inactivity grew.

In SSF's final attempt at a comeback the team recruited Rax, Nico and some highly rated experienced players to help through the transition period. It just didn't go according to plan and the leaders conceded defeat and closed the clan.
