The Rules:

1. Territories:

A: Two Types of Land: Sparse and Populated

B. When your empire consumes more food than it produces and you don’t import enough food to make up for the difference you have a food shortage and you lose 400Xdeficit from your taxes.

c. Each territory can hold 1 factory and as many armies you like.


2. Resources:

A. Some territories have resources. Each territory with a resource can produce 3 units of that resource per RP week.


B. Types of Factories:

a. Smelting: Metal (Iron, Gold, Silver, Lead, and Copper) must be smelted to use. Consumes 2 units of coal and smelts 3 units of metal per RP week. Smelting Factories cost 600 and 1 iron(which does NOT have to be smelted) to build and 50 to upkeep every RP week
b. Jewelry Factories: Converts 2 units of Diamond, or smelted Gold or Silver, into 1 unit of jewelry a RP Week generating 400 for each unit of jewelry created. Cost 1000 and 1 smelted iron, and 50 to upkeep. 8 territories can only accpet 1 unit of jewelry.
c. Weapon Factories: Turn 2 units of refined iron and 1 unit of wood into 4 units of weapons. Cost 1,500 and 1 smelted iron to make and 50 to upkeep.
d. Canning Factories: “Can” Food resources so they can be sent to lands in another empire or not connected by land in yours. Requires 2 units total of either smelted copper or smelted aluminum. Factories are able to can 10 units of food every RP week. Cost 600 and 1 smelted iron to make and 50 to upkeep
e. Plantations: Need 2 wood and 1 smelted iron to make and increase food production in a territory by 2.


C. The Resources.

a. Iron: All factories require 1 smelted Iron to be built (except smelters which can use unsmelted iron), iron is needed to make Iron-Clads and weapons.
b. Gold, Silver, and Diamonds: used to make jewelry.
c. Bauxite: used to make aluminum cans.
d. Lead: 2 unit needed for all fleets.
e. Copper: used to make cans.
f. Wood: used for making ships and weapons.
g. Food Resources: each food resource produces 5 units of food. Territories consume 1 food per RP week.
h. Coal: used to operate smelters.


3. Military:
a.
1. Regular unit armies (Inf. Rifles, Cav., Art,) cost 2,000 to make, 200 upkeep.
2. Militia armies cost 500 with 50 upkeep.
3. Elite Armies (special art, special inf.) cost 3,000 and 300 upkeep.

b. Navies: 3,000 to recruit/ 300 upkeep.
*Requires 3 units of wood, 2 iron, and 2 lead for advanced*

4. Taxes:
a. Nations with less than 30 populated territories multiple the amount of populated territories they have by 100 for tax income.
b. Nations above 30 multiply their populated areas by 50 for tax income
*All Populated Territories require 1 food unit of food a turn for advanced*
c. Sparse territories give 25. (Require no food for advanced)
