If They Wish to Fight Today, Let Them Come Like Men

The Community all started on October 25th, 2015 in a mod for Mount and Blade Warband called North and South. We played North and South for about a month then switched to the Napoleonic Wars dlc as the 69th South Lincolnshire. We stayed in the Napoleonic Wars for around 6 months and hosted an event called the 69th South Lincolnshire Regimental Siege, which at its peak had 200 players a week. After playing the game itself for 3 years most of the NCO's and CO's were tired of Mount and Blade. We then moved to Arma 3 for a few years. We missed the community that Mount and Blade had so we moved back to it in preparation for Bannerlord as the Shields of Valor.

Our community is somewhat different than most other communities on this game. Instead of having a single leader we have a council of members that have been together for many years that make all the major decisions. We also do not have a multitude of ranks. There are only two (Initiate and Valorman). New members go through a period of time before they are confirmed by the council for official entry into the clan. This time can vary with each person. Our focus is more on gameplay and not so much on "ranking up". If you want to be popular you will have to rely on your personality or skill to do so and not your rank.
