Spawn is in an insane wacked up tundra biome with gigantic mountains and lots of floating islands. We don't know yet how the server will cope with the massive world size, but if it seems to run ok, we won't change it. So that needs to be tested. :P (EDIT - Seems to run very smoothly with no lag! :D) Shrinker says he has upgraded his connection though so it should be better this time around, I didn't experience any lag while running around by myself at least.

The server uses a whitelist so if you wish to join, please post your Minecraft username in the group comments or via chat to Evil_Vasile or Finzy directly (and any friends' usernames too, if you got some trustable people who are interested in playing as well).

Rules and so forth are still being worked out but just use common sense and play nice. And please build within x,y,z +/- 1024 to avoid overloading the server with too many chunks, thanks!

I've made a very basic spawn area out of stone and marked it out with torches, but I'll continue working on it later. It contains some signs with info about the server and a safe sleeping/crafting/storage point for the night. However, it may be possible to spawn high up in the clouds instead since the land goes all the way there...if that happens, good luck! :P (you can try killing yourself and spawning again, or I can get you down when I'm online - if you want to go down!)
