[EN] 🌿 IGROPROM 2025: We Found Our Audience

Hello everyone,

On September 19, 2025, we were thrilled to be invited to IGROPROM Festival in Moscow.
We want to share this incredible experience with you, our Steam community.

We took part in a playtest session, where attendees could try out the current version of BERENICE (1.2.2) and share their feedback directly with us. Despite having a small booth and a "team" of just one producer, we pulled it off. And it was unforgettable.

People played the demo, pointed out where the sounds were too loud, where they got lost looking for a staircase, laughed at the clever "jank," and offered words of support that meant the world to us.

Hearing reactions like, "Wait, this was made by just three people in three years?!" – this is exactly why we do what we do.

What Was Amazing:

Our producer put up a bold LED banner that read "GOTHIC HORROR ON PC." It honestly worked like a charm. If it caught your eye, you are definitely our target audience.

We met gamers, journalists, and fellow developers. The discussions ranged from development costs and game philosophy to SATORI's unique perspective on the industry's future.

We received a ton of feedback on version 1.2.2, which is already being sorted into our bug-fix and ideas list for 1.2.3. update.

What Was Challenging:

There were moments when the booth got surprisingly crowded, and our lone producer struggled to answer everyone at once!

For the first time, we saw our audience face-to-face and watched them play our game. This feeling, this connection, is more motivating than any metric. A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by, played the demo, and showed their support. You've inspired us to push even harder.
