Welcome to the Resistance & Liberation Boxing League!

Here, we will organize people together, bring them to an empty server, and have BRUTAL boxing events.

Other events may occur, such as 10-pace pistol duels. More may be made as time passes.

I will post scheduled events on this group page, so make sure to check in!

Although there may be serious planning to form such an event, the entire thing will be all in good fun. No complete seriousness, BUT NOT GUN OR GRENADE KILLS EITHER! Please respect the code of the R&L Boxing League.

Result of our First Event

Hello fighters!

Today's event was possible thanks to the 62nd Commandos!
They were nice enough to sponser the event, and even give us our own server!

Now, onto what happened...

Many of the members couldn't make it, so I was forced to make the server open to the R&L public

It started off slow with only 6 people in the game, but as time went on more and more people joined.

This was good at first, until trolls came into the mix. Many players couldn't control their urges to shoot, punch (when not asked to), and blow up everyone while we tried to organize the mass amount of people joining.

I was left to control the server myself, and my only tool of authority was an rcon kickplayer command which was very ineffective. Players would join right back and continue their mean-streak.

Later on, however, we did manage to organize a large-scale boxing tournament that most were able to participate in without much trouble. This lasted for about 20 minutes, until the server finally crashed, and 50% of the players had left. So from there I said the tournament was off, and directed the remaining players to our Steam group.

And unfortunately, I could not get a group picture. There were too many non-members and it was overall very chaotic. It was hard to organize a simple fight let alone a group picture.

HOWEVER!
I've contacted the people at 62commando about how the event went down, and I have asked for assistance in dealing with the riff-raff in future events, so don't let this discourage you!

CHECK BACK ONCE AND AWHILE FOR OUR NEXT EVENT DATE!

OUR FIRST EVENT!!

Hey guys! Thanks for joining the Boxing League. Hopefully the cooperation of members leads to good clean fights in the future.

Anyways, the first thing we have to do as the R&L Boxing Leauge is... group pictues.

Sounds like a stupid idea right? Well not to me, because I decided not to rip an image off of google, and use actual members instead. Attendance is not mandatory, but I'm hoping to get as many people as possible into the shot.
We will then fight afterwards, so don't worry about showing up to do nothing but take pictures.

(Time zones will differ, so make sure to compare the scheduled time to YOUR time)

GROUP PICTURES WILL BE HELD ON: September 3rd, 6:00PM [U.S Eastern Standard]
This time is subject to change, incase I'm not available when the picture is due.

When you see this announcement, please comment whether or not you can make it to the group photo. Thanks in advance for your cooperation and involvement. Fights are to be scheduled in the not-so-distant future!
