As in-game voice chat no longer works, a Discord channel has been created for those who are interested in using it for voice chat. You can join it here[discord.gg].


Resident Evil 5 is region locked, which means you can only play with people who are in the same region as you.

If you wish to bypass region lock, download the patch here[www.sb-online.org] and follow these steps:

1. Download the first file named Patch1Fixes.rar
2. Extract all files. There should be an .exe and .dll file
3. Copy these two files and paste them into the Resident Evil 5 folder.

To find the folder, go to library > resident evil > right click properties > local files > browse local files

4. Right click on the .exe file and run as administrator
5. Now launch the game as normal and you should now be able to play with people all over the world!
