The Kingdom of Poland existed in the years 1025-1795. From 1025 to 1385 it was ruled by the Piast Dynasty. The Jagiellon Dynasty reigned from 1385 to 1569. From 1569 to 1795, it existed as a mighty union of Poland-Lithuania, and stretched from Poznan in the west, Tartu (present day Estonia) in the northern part, Smolensk (present day Russia) to the Northeast, and Kiev(present day Ukraine) to the southeast. At its greatest extent, the kingdom's area was more then 1,150,000 square kilometers (440,000 square miles). This group represents the Polish Kingdom proud and independent from tyranny; it supports constitutional and elective monarchy, as well as oligarchy.
