1) You are a devout follower of Regism, the national religion of the lands of Regis; I am the deity of Regism and you have come to worship me in all of my astounding glory.

2) You're a pretty cool guy, and I either wanted to see what would happen if I invited you, tried to waste more of your time, or I'm asking you to come to try and categorize you in to my assortment of friends.

3) I like you, sure. I just don't want to see your hideous avatar/username on my friends list ever again, so I will use this to keep tabs on you.

4) On a whim, because I'm just that unpredictable.
