ABOUT Rednecks vs Dirty Rat Bastards Tournament

The Rednecks vs Dirty Rat Bastards Tournament is happening on May 25th at 5:00 PM Pacific / 8:00 PM Eastern (in North America), on Sunday May 26th at 10:00 AM in Australia (GMT: May 25 @midnight).

Please try and check in before game start. We'll be in the chat room about 30 minutes before game time.

Rules 'n stuff
  • Best out of eight games determines the winner.
  • Teams will be assigned based on Rebel and Combine for each side, alternating between game.
  • Maps will be picked at random just prior to the tournament.
  • Because of the latency differences between North America and Australia we're playing on TWO servers. Every player is expected to play on both servers!
  • Servers will be similar config. General rules are: No spawn killing - we will be using spawn protection! No RPG, no hacks, no cheats.
  • We will be supporting double jump on both servers. Jetpack will NOT be supported

  • Competition: USA Server - Redneck Hideout @ 69.162.90.123:12000
  • Competition: AU Server - {DRB} Dirty Rat Bastards - @ 103.23.148.107:27245

The competition servers will be password protected. The join password will be distributed during the Tournament.

Hello Everyone!

First and foremost - THANK YOU EVERYONE WHO CAME TO THE TOURNAMENT!

We had some pretty bad road bumps: team management wasn't as straight forward as it should have been, and some players where experiencing slow downloads.

After some chatting amongst ourselves we've decided to treat this one as a "trial run" and plan to do a re-do sometime in the next couple of months.

Aside from the problems we hope ya'll had fun meeting and playing each other. Thanks again to everyone for playing, and your patience :)

The Rednecks vs {DRB} Tournament is TOMORROW!

  • USA: Saturday May 25th at 5:00 PM Pacific or 8:00 PM Eastern
