11-23 Tournament!
Good news everyone!

I will be hosting an open tournament during the first (and maybe second) weekend of the new year, here's what you need to know:

>> It will take place to the 6/7th January 2018 with plans to run over to the next weekend if need be (With enough resistance, this date can be changed)
>> Open to all players from across the globe
>> Existing, new or teams of random players are welcome
>> The mode will be Conquest 5v5
>> The tournament will be held in a bracket style, with winners and losers brackets (losers bracket may be extensive depending on number of teams)
>> Each bracket will be best of three games
>> There may be in-game prizes
>> Each team will comprise of 1 captain, 4 members and 2 reserves
>> Sign-up will stop at the start of the new year (January 1st)

And the gimmick, 11-23!
A single ship ban will be available to each team, per game. This means that at the start of each game, a team can globally ban 1 ship from both line-ups. If both teams ban the same ship, so be it. In addition to this, both teams will have the option to globally ban 2 ships from all 3 games, but this means sacrificing their single bans per game. The idea of this is to allow for meta breaking and more varied setups/play. Again, if teams both pick the same 1 or 2 ships to be banned, then so be it.

Streaming of the tournament is encouraged but not mandatory and I request you set at least a 1 minute delay on your stream. Streamers should let me know in advance if they will be streaming exclusively, or streaming and playing. Streamers who will be exclusively streaming or who will continue streaming after they are knocked out can either request to spectate a game (at both team's discretion) or will be assigned a game.

Rules and disqualification:
** Any reports of match rigging will be grounds for immediate disqualification
** Any excessive insults, prejudice or other salty behaviour will be grounds for immediate disqualification
** Any forms of cheating or exploitation will be grounds for immediate disqualification
** Disqualification may be of a single member or of the entire team
** Any and all questions and queries should be run through me, not by the players themselves
** A print screen of each match's scoreboard and result must be taken by at least 1 member of each team playing the match, failure to do so in a disagreement over the match may result in forfeit of said match
** Teams must register through the sign-up link with at least 5 members
** After a five minute grace period, teams that have less than 5 players for a match will either have to play with 4 (or less) or forfeit, even if a team member is promised to show up after these 5 minutes. This 5 minute grace period is from the matches scheduled start time (which may vary on the day)
** If not bans are submitted to me before the match from a team's captain, then no bans from that team shall be enforced
