so today, I woke up bright and early at 9am, and my mom had the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ nerve to cook eggs. in our house. the smell wafted up into my room and it instantly put me on edge. I’m vegan and I actually only eat nuts (squirrelkin) and she KNOWS THIS. we have some family over for the next few days and I guess she thought that their dietary preferences outweighed my PTSD from animal cruelty. so anyway, I go downstairs, practically in tears, and my mom was taking out some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ BACOn to make with the eggs. like chicken unborn fetuses weren’t enough? you HAD to add in pigs?? when i walked into the kitchen i started telling her about how poorly the chickens and pigs are treated on farms these days and she just gave me like, “that’s enough, kaikura.” ?????????????????? THAT’S ENOUGH???????????? ♥♥♥♥♥, you know what’s ENOUGH? I’ve had ENOUGH of watching her ♥♥♥♥♥♥ cooking unborn babies and the flesh of pigs JUST SO SHE AND HER SIBLINGS AND PARENTS CAN ENJOY THE FLAVORS. there are sO MANY VEGAN ALTERNATIVES. TOFU? TEMPEH??? EGGPLANTs? MUSHROOMS?
