History
During the Maryland Campaign, Pelham's Battery was led by "Gallant" John Pelham, commander of Maj. Gen. J.E.B. Stuart's Horse Artillery. The battery comprised two four-gun sections, including a pair of 12-lb. Napoleons, a pair of 12-lb. Blakelys, and four 3-in. Ordnance Rifles.
